Major Opinion
The majority of Americans are opposed to funding abortions in the healthcare bill.
In the President´s speech before the joint session of Congress he stated there would be no abortion provision in the health care bill.
"And one more misunderstanding I want to clear up - under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions, and federal conscience laws will remain in place."
